Swirl near 20.8-88.3 where they have the "L" marked.

Good example of a degraded open wave.

they were spaced roughty 60nm apart and the heights were consistent with the readings the ARWO was getting on the Hygrometer.

I'm afraid that Florida might not get much rain at all from this. Not much of the vorticity center survived the shear today. It appears all that's left is a westward-moving tropical wave. May eventually bring some rain to Mexico after crossing the Bay of Campeche tomorrow. Development chances aren't zero, but they're probably not over 5% either.

Here's a surface analysis. Don't see any closed low, just an open wave.

The buoy just south of the words "wave axis" has a pressure of 1011.6 millibars, correct? try to read those...yeaaa

Can we have a tutorial made on how to read the surface obs like on that map?

Apart to allow comments for the next day or two, also the thread remains just in case NHC reactivates 93L as you never know what will occur as the tropics many times bring surprises.Personally,I dont expect reactivation.

brunota2003,the graphic above is automated.

Maybe not from this wave, but the ridge may break down in 6-7 days, allowing for daytime storms here.

Crazy feeling, next Invest in 3 or more weeks away.

Not official in any way.

Nor is my gut of a 5 to 7 storm season...
