No, they just want to make sure it's not going to develop until they stop the invest. There's no harm in leaving it as an invest until they're 100% certain. But I'd estimate it's chances of development at closer to 1-2% now than anywhere near 30%.

Well, time to head out and get a bit of biking in. Been fighting with the City of Houston for 2 days as we've had no water since Friday (broken water main). You might see me on the news on Ch. 11 this evening. I contacted the media about the lack of water on my street and they interviewed me. Crews are fixing the pipe now, so maybe I can take a real shower tonight. At least it's been cool yesterday and today - only 101 yesterday and it's only 97 as of 2pm this afternoon. We'll probably only reach 100 today.

So, did you make thew news?

I was the lead story. Well, the water main breaks was the lead, but I was in it. Oh, a friend of mine has something to say about 93L...

If 93L is dead why hasn't Wunderground updated their site? They're still showing model runs posted on their website last night.

The last time I saw Dr. Bones make an appearance on these boards, 91L became Tropical Depression One the next day.

I'm just saying. 8-)

The last model runs were issued at 12Z yesterday, so anything they have online is old. Just checked and there's nothing on wunderground. Perhaps you're viewing a cached page? It's off the NHC web page now but hasn't been removed from the Monterey web site yet. On the current surface analysis I can't even locate a wave axis any longer. In fact, I see anticyclonic flow across the region. This one's not coming back to life.

Poof, season over. No storms in June. Last time that happened was in 2004. Yep, season over, just like 2004 :)

Of course this season won't be like 2004. It will be a light season. Just making a point. And we did have a lot of season over statements in 2004 at this time if I remember correctly.

Visible makes it look like there's a weak rotation stalled over Yucatan. No difference because the GOM is still hostile.

The disturbance is dead. They just forgot to take down the invest. Time to lock it.

I would not call 93L "close." It wasn't able to even develop a surface circulation. So far JB is distant.

Starting to thunder here today, radar shows rain heading this way, two days in a row would be too good to be true and it ain't even dog days yet.
