You can clearly see the wave axis and convection popping. What's the reasoning behind this not re-developing?

Whatever is left will be disrupted somewhat when it begins to interact with the N coast of Hispaniola, assuming it maintains a WSW heading... so no big comebacks today...

caribepr.....you know what I'm talking about. To this day there are "witch doctors" ......I met one....on the fish docks in Basseterre, St Kitts. A random meeting. A few beers and a lively discussion. The man lives in the jungle and has one leg. He uses one Canadian walking stick as a crutch. British accent. It takes him 2 days to get back on the mountain. He has a halfway stop. Grows all his own food and tobacco products. He works with children and only comes down on request. He was headed to Nevis on the ferry.

800 PM EDT SAT OCT 10 2009

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

SHOWER ACTIVITY HAS INCREASED THIS AFTERNOON IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE
REMNANTS OF TROPICAL DEPRESSION HENRI...LOCATED JUST NORTH OF THE
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. HOWEVER...UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE CURRENTLY NOT
CONDUCIVE FOR ADDITIONAL DEVELOPMENT. THERE IS A LOW CHANCE...LESS
THAN 30 PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING
THE NEXT 48 HOURS AS IT MOVES WESTWARD AT 10 TO 15 MPH.

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.
