Interesting......there looks to no doubt be a NNE motion. However it could just be the SW feederband filling in on radar. Regardless I believe this is currently a TD.

Every inch east it moves means a better chance of landfall in Texas, though the good odds are still on a hit south of the border.

a well organized curved band is now beginning to develop ... and getting enough frames of the radar now to see a distinct N/NNE motion.

Aric, do you have a link for the radar imagery?

The Alvarado "button" at http://smn.cna.gob.mx/radares/radares.html is off-line....

yes but the site goes down very easy so dont everyone go to site at once. also there is no animation... I save each image and make them myself.

If there is any indication that it is a TD or TS, they need to upgrade it at the first opportunity (even if it means a Special Advisory) as warnings would be necessary.

pressure is 1008 at a near by buoy so estimated pressure at the LLC is probably 1005

29.70 is 1005.8 mb not 1008

I dont see this more than a 50MPH so thats good for Tx. / Mexico. JMO of course.

problem is the environment is good for strengthening and it has about 36 hours over water.. just have to wait and see..
