Really does depends on the track, the ECM is the extreme southerly outlier here but as long as it does pick up at least some latitude, its going to have enough water to at least strengthen to strong TS if conditions aloft are decent.

They will probably go conservative at 30kts but state it could be TS Alex at nearly any time. Thats what I'd go for.

Definitely looks solid. Moving slowly, warm SST's, pretty good conditions aloft, I think this can easily make it to a strong TS by the time it reaches the Yucatan
