I agree with Portastorm. Stay on subject. The storm will be making landfall in the near future and you guys were arguing over the pronunciation? Stay on the topic from now on please.

Wow, it looks like it really is wrapping around itself there. This is going to be really close if it has enough time or not.

Well , it's really south of you, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I would wait to tomorrow when things calm down, but then it probably wouldn't be as much fun

I know recon only found 50 kt winds but it is looking better by the hour maybe 55 or 60 kt in the intermediate and 65 kt in the next full advisory that could be just before or just after landfall.

yeah pressure should be falling pretty fast now. the eyewall seems to have become tighter and much more defined the east quad probably has 60kts in there..

SFMR now supports 55 kt. Pressure likely around 989mb based on heights (as the estimate is missing).

Pressure calculations:

843.3mb level was at 1,418m on last pass.

When that was at 1,440m it was 993mb and when that was at 1,458m it was 996mb. That would mean the pressure on heights would be around 989mb.

Guys...its not moving north. There are occasional jogs to 340...and right now there is a big jog over the last 30 minutes back to 315...

But its not moving north. It moved at 307 from the 1 pm to the 4pm...and from the 4 pm to the latest recon it has moved at 330. Between the last two recon fixes it moved closed to 320.
