We've got tropical warnings and the surf is ok right now, should I go back out or wait till tomorrow for calmer conditions?

Well , it's really south of you, but it's better to be safe than sorry. I would wait to tomorrow when things calm down, but then it probably wouldn't be as much fun

I know recon only found 50 kt winds but it is looking better by the hour maybe 55 or 60 kt in the intermediate and 65 kt in the next full advisory that could be just before or just after landfall.

yeah pressure should be falling pretty fast now. the eyewall seems to have become tighter and much more defined the east quad probably has 60kts in there..

well after checking the radar and visible satellite it looks like corpus will get some action out of this thing. Its moving NNW and N on some of the pics. Its really cranking up!

Guys...its not moving north. There are occasional jogs to 340...and right now there is a big jog over the last 30 minutes back to 315...
But its not moving north. It moved at 307 from the 1 pm to the 4pm...and from the 4 pm to the latest recon it has moved at 330. Between the last two recon fixes it moved closed to 320.
