Maybe so far this year, However historically speaking, Hurricanes Andrew, Hugo, Bob, Isabel, Fran, Hazel, Edna, New England Hurricane 1938, Belle, Donna, Betsy, ect say hi.

Is that Igor, as a monster system well south or Nova Scotia, or a huge nor'easter? Either way, just wow. :double:

only according to a model waaaayyy into the future. That far out they are mostly unreliable. If is all going to depend upon the timing of fronts, etc. which can only be seene as really relialbe within 3 days out, and even then a model can still have the timing off.

I had no intention of forecasting when I made that comment about Florida. It was more relief than anything, and I was just going by the recurve scenario that people were mentioning. I do apologize....The last thing I would do is forecast.....

I think you know what I mean. There hasn't been the threat of a monster storm like there usually is....

It doesn't take a monster storm to be really bad. Remember Tropical Storm Allison in 2001?

Yes, but we should count our blessings, because what's happened so far isn't near as bad as the catastrophe that what was forecasted before the season started.......

It's not over yet though, it's way to early to say that we've lucked out.
