It's far from looking like Grace. It needs a lot more convection, not being exposed

Re: MED: PAULA - (Sub)Tropical Storm from Spain to the Mediterranean Sea
The remaining of the Extratropical storm PAULA (7 October 960 Hpa - sea surface +14°C) moved south east and acquired a warm core and tropical or subtropical caracteristic on 9-10 October just north west Spain coast ( 994 Hpa - sea surface +20°).
The little system have 35 knt wind (enter in Mediterranean sea on 13 October).
LOOK the system in the night 9-10 October:
Example of tropical depression or storm with convection only north east of the center:

It is more south than the GFS track.

In that radar....
Am I becoming crazy seeing a semi-circle at the West?

960 hpa 7 october
994 hpa 10 october
today probably 997 hpa but the carts not very well looked the little circulation storm;
landfall produced wind to 60-80 km/h over Casablanca (Marocco) over +23,0°C sea surface:
(today enter in Mediterranean sea).

It looked decent but the NHC don't tend to pay much attention to these sorts of systems unless they can hold an impressive presentation for a few days.

If this system moved over the Atlantic US coast the NHC would had much attention to this system.
In the other hand, this is another good example of nice transformation of the convective core of a deep cold low in warm core cyclone (tropical transation - Karl, Vince, Grace, ecc). Last year was GRACE... But, some more cases in other years before are very similar. The eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean sea, have a little tropical cyclone activity.

Interesting system, with warmer water could have evolved as Grace. Interesting, but harmless, it passed near where I live, and wind was very weak and little rain. What is the dynamics of these systems that sometimes appear in this region? Warmcore on low levels, something closer to subtropical cyclones or more similar to dynamic we found on mesoscale convective vortex?
