Howdy buddy! Euro takes it's vorticity into deep south TX. Very consistent too and it is the model I trust the most right now.

Jasons is right.... it will shoot the channel then we get to play with those easterlies to its north...which I dont think are going to be a problem....

what planet have you been on? :lol: :lol: the GFS hasnt seen this for days, until today. I wouldnt trust it right now....

Winds shifted to 22kts sustained SW winds...

It could be a sign that of a closing low but with a lowering of the surface temps that could be a sing that is just from a convection nearby. I would like to see more evindence of a clean SW wind.

I have been watching that buoy all day and this is the first time the winds swung around....I would have thought a lighter winds than 22kts though...

Forecast Models do not have a handle at all on this system. I agree with you that a weak system maybe at best a TS?? As for track in my opinion anywhere from Port La Vaca to NE Mexico.
