Needless to say, the credibility of the GFS is on the line at this point. If the GFDL track verifies it will be hard to forgive the GFS for such a horrible error.

With those 2 huge ridges "closing the gap" to its north, this system could stall out once inland and cause torrential rainfall in the SE U.S.

im not to keen on this run, all this flipping by the gfs is making me crazy.one thing is ALMOST certain but NOT set in stone is Florida may be looking at a very strong hurricane.

With it blocked from heading north due to the ridge building back in, what would stop it from headed back west into the gulf?
