ATL: INVEST 97L - Models

#381 Postby Adoquín » Fri Aug 19, 2011 3:51 pm

if it is indeed forming an LLC at 15, it will likely NOT go through central Hispaniola, but east of that. Does anyone have an idea if and when it would slow in forward speed? That could mean the difference between TS or Cat 1 for the islands.

Aric, if I understand you correctly you seem to be suggesting the system is forming vertically stacked. Please confirm if I understood yiu, which I hope I did not.

If the current trends continues we 're not so far from what you're describing . Whereas, thanks for this wink, we appreciate us in the Leewards and in the others islands of the NE Carib. Yes, wee keep an eye on the activity further east but let's focus on this one and see if it could pose a possible threat for the Lesser Antilles and especially Guadeloupe given the models path predictions. Things are heating up in the tropics and frankly we don't want any remake of 1995 and that's not HUC, Cycloneye, Msbee and the others from the islands who will say the contrary!

True, it also shows Harvey well south inside Honduras, and we know that is not true. So go figure.
