Well at least I can keep my backyard RC course going. Wife just doesn't look out back anymore and she knows we're having fun in the dirt or powder now. But a rainband or two would be nice.

Maybe we will get some version of Nate. hopefully greatly weakened.. All it would take would be some sort of miracle... but never say never.. and I remember someone saying Nate was never gonna form.

I agree with Wxman57 with the idea that this will head westwards into Mexico, probably as a decent hurricane as well...maybe close to Karl's strength.
I think it probably won't bend WSW though, I personally think a near due west track right close to 21N.

Stiull quite big uncertainty though to be fair with regards to the track, the ECM and it ensembles are a fair bit further north then the 18z suite of models thus far.
GFDL takes this WSW into landfall, peaks out about 12hrs before landfall and weakens as it comes into Mexico, makes sense if its south of 20N...if it goes north then the weakening probably won't happen at all...
