Chris_in_Tampa wrote:The NOAA points being in the wrong order is not a problem on your end. It's kind of a problem on my end. NOAA HDOB messages are coming in, as they have been recently, with a different date than they used to after midnight Zulu. After midnight Zulu, the date stamp it had just before, 20121025, is supposed to change to the next day, 20121026. Notice how the AF HDOBs do that. But, NOAA's does not any more. (I'm not really sure if that is an error or that is simply how they do it now.) That confuses my system. I'll manually adjust it later. For now I am considering how to fix that error in real time. Things might get a little buggy in a little bit.
Chris_in_Tampa wrote:Yep, that is how the problem I mentioned presents.
My site organizes HDOBs by the time of the first ob.
How it should happen and appear on my site:
OB 24: 20121025 23:54:00Z
OB 25: 20121026 00:04:00Z
How the NOAA obs are actually coming across:
OB 24: 20121025 23:54:00Z
OB 25: 20121025 00:04:00Z
That places that 25th ob on my site before all the other obs, 1 through 24, on the site because my site thinks that the ob came across 24 hours earlier.
See the drop down list on this page:
http://www.tropicalatlantic.com/recon/a ... mission=07
And you can see how my site is incorrectly treating everything after that 24th ob. (Note the dates.) I'll fix it later tonight. I just need to think about how I want to actually fix it.
