Best looking wind field I've seen yet with this system, winds being found above 50kts in the NE quadrant.

Chris, your images are putting the rest of us to shame. The visible overlay with the slight touch of colored IR is one of the best I've seen.

I try to use the NRL visible imagery from the KML link in left col here:

For big images.
Closeup, I use the floater imagery that I have to position each time the floater moves:
http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/floaters.html
With visible and AVN and sometimes something else. Add the AVN on top with a very light alpha. Add in NHC track, maybe some past points.
If I have alpha on visible too, I use a NASA image background I created:
