You were quite while we got hammered yesterday,last night and all day today. I'm deff over it. The wind is still gusting at 45mph, no rain. I'm deff over it.

SPC Just Extended The Tornado Watch To The East Coast Of Florida, Including The Counties of Volusia, Brevard, And Indian River.... Gonna Be A Long Night With The Weather Radio...lol

Looks like Central and Eastern Florida are under the gun right now. We had a band come thru here recently that was dropping 2" an hour. Luckily it passed over fast.

I wouldn't be surpised if that watch was extended north and east throughout the night.

Recon said center was at 28degrees 19 minutes north by 85 degrees 48 minutes west. Basically stationary but actually a hair south of the earlier fix.

new recon fix appears ENE of first fix on the current mission. Expect a shift in the track, since now Debby is DUE south of Panama City now, and it would need to head north to make projected path.

When you have no convection...and you get dry air entrained into the system...it spreads your pressure gradient out...almost like a mid-latitude system. This is what is happening to Debby.

It's a MESS. Where's Vaffie? I want to ask them if I should still be surprised at how fast it will become a major hurricane? :P :lol:

That now includes my county Seminole. I worked all day and we were dealing with lots of power line calls.
