recon showing south wind very near where the center likely is next set should be a wind shift.

Not that close apparently, plane head northwest did not make it to the center.

or the center is a little further nw.

Center might be onshore right now perhaps?

It is still a solid storm with the SFMR reading - 50 kt seems correct for intensity right now.

Still no fresh convection here at all, I would have expected at least a little popcorning or something after it made it back to water.

Recon shows like S to SE winds off shore....that would make the center off shore right?

its just out of their range they cant do a pass because they are too close to the center. center is just to there south just offshore.

yeah the winds went from south to east now to ne and north the center is just to their south inside the red circle i made.
