Currently Bopha's ACE is 21.3375 and our season total is 288.225...mighty impressive...
Normal Yearly Ace based on 1981-2010 Climatology is 295...we are catching up...

They may bump it up to 145kts in the best track data. But still, 150kts seems more reasonable to me

If Bopha maintains its Category 5 strength, it could be really bad for the Philippines. They should really take that super typhoon seriously. I wonder if Philippines have to worry about storm surge.

Exact point of landfall looks to be 7.7N 126.5E. It appears to be a lagoon between Cateel and Baganga.

Winds starting to pickup strong here in Cebu City and it's a very dark morning. At what time realistically do this Super typhoon will pass over this island? Thanks for the update.
