Interesting that the highest winds on SFMR are 40 knots, highest flight level are 44 knots. However, the buoy on the south side of the center did report winds up to almost 20 knots, so adding forward motion to that would get winds of around 35 to 40 knots (assuming winds are nearly as strong, and forward motion is around 20 knots as well).
