It's hard to pick the NOAA plane out, because both Kermit and Gonzo are up...if you don't refresh at the right moment, you miss one and catch the other. Frustrating, surely. I've only been seeing the jet's obs.

Couldn't find any new info from NOAA2. The one I posted (#08) was the latest one in

I see a few of the graphics people floating around...maybe they'll assist now that 300 is at altitude? :)

They found a 992 near 82'12" so I guess it has moved about 29 minutes west since 6PM?

I think that is the tightest, cleanest center pass we've ever had on this storm!

Good image ATCcane, but you need to make sure north is straight up (click the N button on top of compass). I would also use images without lat and lon, though the image you used looks quite good.

Ok... sorry I'm in and out this evening. I'm still trying to get my feet wet with Google Earth but will try to help out more with posting the images in the future.

For an image overlay of the floater that DOES NOT update when it moves, click here:
http://www.tropicalatlantic.com/temp/20 ... NUALLY.kmz

Every time the floater moves, I have to manually move it in Google Earth. I do not update that file above, I'm just posting it for now to be used, UNTIL the floater moves. Then you have to make a close up floater overlay manually.
