Yeah maybe we will have Tony at 11, depends on other Dvorak numbers though.

I think we will. From the satellite presentation it looks very good now so I think TAFB numbers will come up.

BTW, anyone know what happened to the 19D floater? It's all screwed up, at least for me.

:uarrow: Thanks, Luis. Looks like convection firing almost right over the center on that microwave which was pretty recent at 5PM EDT. This is a great example of how microwave satellite has really enhanced our capability to see the internal structure of TCs when they're obscured by high clouds or night-time limitations.

2012 is now tied with 1887,2010 and 2011 as the 3rd most active hurricane season ever. One more, and will be tied for 2nd.

Thanks, 13, but I did that and it still doesn't work. I have some weird issues with my PC including major Java problems but since these aren't Java loops that can't be it. So maybe it still is just me but thanks for the advice. :)

I got this for the main page:
19L has become 19L
The new URL is: http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/floater ... oater.html
You will be redirected there in 5 seconds

Go into the actual image or loops you want to see for Sandy and change 18L to 19L in the URL (I think that is what 13 meant). For example, here is Sandy's RBTOP image:
http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/floater ... 0-lalo.jpg
Just change the 18L to 19L and it'll work! :)

Tied with 1995 too, in terms of named storms.
