GFS is in an early recurve scenario.

There is another very broad system located in chuuk-pohnpei area. It seems to be spinning but lacks convection...

GFS shows this develop into a strong typhoon (SINLAKU) brushing the northern part of the Mariana Islands in the mid-range of the run.

another classic long tracker brought on by this el nino (although not official yet)...this month and december will be very dangerous for the marianas as storms develop near the dateline and with an el nino in place, another pongsona/paka type typhoon might occur. Both devastated guam during december of 97 and 02 in nino years...the marianas has been very lucky over the past decade dodging monster typhoons...

SST nearly untapped all season around this area...large area of 29C-29.5C...It gets warmer if this goes west than what models indicate...

Very close hit...12Z has sinlaku taking a last minute turn to the northwest from west northwest east of guam and recurves very close to the cnmi...

oh i see the models have totally dropped this system...system has totally dissipated...lets see if sinlaku makes an appearance soon...
