Right near what I was following on Sat. loop. Can see a small LLC near edge of convection.

This morning I got fed up and swore off the tropics for the rest of the season, and vowed I would not come back to s2k for the rest of the year. Then I take a peek and find we have a new td and Gabi returning LOL. The tropics never cease to amaze me even in this crazy season. Anyway, Gabi has some nice convection blowing up right now.

Sure did. Good call on this thing having a chance after getting through the Mona Passage!

There's still a noticeable MLC near 20N, 65W, but it finally seems to be dissipating...

Based on SFMR readings from earlier, it supports a 35 kt intensity.

Still, the conditions are anything but favorable so I can't see it doing more than holding its intensity for the next little while, whether as a TC or remnant low.

Vorticity is less than this morning with the other area getting stronger again. We have seen this story before...

That other area might just be part of Gabrielle?

The other area which I refer to is the one North of Gabrielle, I believe that is the old Eastern vort that has caused so much problems for Gabrielle.

Joe Bastardi ‏@BigJoeBastardi 26m

Gabrielle likely to come back to life and menace Bermuda early next week. ECWMF and JMA both say this is not done..

From HurricaneTrackerApp:
42m The Hurricane Hunters have found a low level center and some winds of 35 knots while investigating Gabrielle’s remnants. Will they upgrade?
