I'm assuming that's the CoC at 11 o'clock from the radar? Do you have a loop link?

Do we have any members in Martinique? Looks like that island will feel the greatest impact from Chantal, insofar as the winds are concerned.

:uarrow: Chantal appears to be crossing 14N and likely will remain on the right side of the forecast track, these slight right adjustments may mean less of an impact on Hispaniola...

The HWRF at 6z shows a minimal hurricane moving west/northwest into southern florida. It's solution shows a path that just skirts the north DR.

I'm not sure if I'd say "stronger" at this point. SFMR and flight level winds still support 50 kt. Pressure is down to 1002... but how much of that is deepening versus recon missing the lowest pressure on the last mission.

Well, Chantal is holding her own right now. COC still intact, although some convection is trying to pop near it. Recon diid find 1002 mb presure reading. If Chantal can slow her forward speed just a bit, she can get better vertically stacked.

Hello,
I'm Martinique.
Here the authorities have announced that we will not pass on red alert and we can go to work ...
They are still debating whether the cycling race will be canceled or postponed ... this afternoon ...
What do you think?
Good day to all,

If Chantal survives Hispaniola and the persistent high the models are building in, this is setting up a classic track towards SFL, IMO only...

My bad... 50 kt would be an increase. :D (I had saw a lot of 50 mph reports and was thinking kt in my head.)
