Wouldn't help, even if it could be done, as the bay is part of a tidal basin attached to both the Bay of Fundy to the south and the St Croix river drainage system to the north. There is just two much water in the system right now, normally it would drain away in a few days but now there could be a lot more coming before it gets the chance. Also worried about wind damage, as trees could be easily uprooted due to the current soaked ground.

This must be what one of the models (UKMET?) was showing earlier in the week. Models would be run for Dorian and you would see this line up near the Carolinas. I knew it had to be seeing something because it clearly wasn't Dorian. Good job on that model to have picked this up so far out.

Down to 10%.

A NON-TROPICAL AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 200 MILES
NORTHEAST OF THE NORTH CAROLINA OUTER BANKS IS RAPIDLY MOVING
TOWARD THE NORTHEAST. SIGNIFICANT DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS
UNLIKELY BEFORE IT MOVES OVER COLDER WATERS TOMORROW. THIS SYSTEM
HAS A LOW CHANCE...10 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE
DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.

Looks like the remnants of this system are just about to enter the Bay of Fundy - just started giving us some rain here down in SW Nova Scotia. I don't know about you, Hybridstorm_November2001, but we have not had much of a summer down here, it's either sunny and unbearably humid or raining and unbearably humid! :grr:

Pretty much the same, we've only had three weeks of real summer or spring here (first three weeks of July). Since May it has been gray, cool & wet most of the time.

BTW a massive sink hole has now opened up by a public drain down the street from my home (between Saint Andrew & Saint George).
