The looping scenario is looking less likely now than it did the past couple of days as no models are showing new development in the BOC once Ingrid moves inland. My guess is that those models showing it were having some convective feedback issues. Now they are all gradually coming into better agreement on some possible development in the NW Caribbean. There is a thread in "Talkin Tropics" to discuss potential development there.
