Most interesting thing on the image you posted was the closed low-level ring of convection signaling the formation of an eyewall.

This might now have a shot at Category 2 status! Most impressive storm in probably a year and a half or more, and definitely the most impressive one in 2013. Long-lasting and strong. Should be an intense ACE contributor. :eek:
