891 mb - HISTORY!!! May God be with everyone in its path.

Based on that data, 160 kt looks to be the intensity.

That's flight level wind. Still very intense. Probably around 150-155 knots. Looks like it has shattered Linda's record!

This is the EPAC's Wilma, that is for sure.

First time in the satellite era a storm in the basin drops below 900mb. I'd expect a Special Advisory around 0530Z.

They were descending and then ascending a lot, wait for sonde for actual pressure.

Hurricane Gilbert's lowest pressure was 888 mb , the lowest ever in the North Atlantic basin. Patricia may have broken that record as well
