Well looking at dropsonde it probably just tied or passed Wilma.

Dropsonde supports 881 mbar. Has Wilma fallen?

Looks like it. Unless you're going to claim faulty equipment or something, you've gotta go with the data.

Its still rapidly intensifying. Showing no signs of leveling off. We've gone from 892 to 881 in a couple hours.

Well, time will tell. I certainly think a case could be made that Patricia may have at least matched Wilma's pressure mark. The post analysis of Patricia will be the most anticipated since Wilma's for sure.

Yep. A shame recon has to leave. 2-3 more hours and you may well be seeing low 870's.

There was a second dropsonde released in the eye, also 885 mb, but with 57 kt at the surface. Could we possibly have broken into the 870s???
