its AJC3's fault we have it coming our way, he mentioned the thumb ridge days and days ago and now look where we are at..the thumb ridge has been coming and going and now its locked in..someone looks to be getting smacked by a major as a result

So when will the models show it completely crossing over the tip of the Peninsula? Tomorrow day or night? Ridge is building in pushing this thing almost due West.

Not surprised on the shift with the GIV out there doing the synoptic flight east of the bahamas finding a stronger ridge.. also notice its not that strong.. it spends more time over cuba.

looks like it is turning more NW just before Palm Beach County landfall but what a shift west by the MU. That would bring hurricane winds to West Palm Beach area :eek:

Crapolla. I don think anyone is relaxing on the east coast of florida with that model run and the trend.

GFS is fast compared to Euro... Maybe the little bit slower Euro allows the turn farther E of Florida...

May see TS Watches up along the SE FL Coast by 11pm at this rate

I'm on the west coast of Florida so not concerned just hope it doesn't try and pull a Frances or jeanne. Was without power for a long time.

On the full resolution, is that 930 or 980? colors are bright here ( I need new glasses too)
