I don't like the latest radar image. Looks like the inner eye is coming back..

That's a good thing. it means it's having issues finishing the ERC. If it finished it while still over the gulf stream it would still have some time to strengthen some more.

KMLB is showing winds to 100mph just 1Kft off the surface and 130 mph just 2Kft off the surface, rotating in toward the Cape.

No radar for me now but the eye can't be but 10-15 miles away from me here in Melbourne.

I'm guessing winds over 100mph in the gusts.

Waiting to see if wind stops and stars appear.

It is. It is possible the full eyewall may landfall at the Cape or just north of there.

eyewall is a good 15 miles away from Cape Canaveral. You are going through one of the outer rainbands

Raildawg: The start of the outer eyewall is about 11 miles due west of Melbourne, according to NWS radar.

The western eyewall is approaching the Cape right now. The recent wobble may have the full eye get closer to the Cape or come over it. It is going to be a real close call there.

Thanks everyone for the updates.

Without radar it goes back to old-school observing!!

It seems eyewall is 15 miles away but you all have the data so I'm listening!!

Thanks again!! Things are howling.

This is turning to the north-northwest now. 50/50 if the cape gets the eyewall at all now

It's been wobbling back and forth for the past 8 hours or so, heading overall has been 325 degree, no way that Cape Canaveral will miss the western eyewall.

Yeah it will be close. They are definitely getting or about to get the worst of the western eyewall for sure.
