Mid-level combo of dry/air +shear has kept this system from running amuk,sst are very warm in the region.

Seems to be making a comeback, seems se shear has lessened and environment is more moist to the nw where track is expected.

JTWC has renumbered to 03B. They're up to 45 kt as of 12Z, consistent with a T3.0 estimate.

Looking more circular, JTWC forecasts weakening before landfall.

Convection is fading and is located well ESE of the exposed center. Overnight ASCAT did not indicate any TS winds. May not be much left of it to reach India in a few days.
