Inner core very defined there. At NE quadrant landfall (probably at Naples) as the storm interacts with the landmass itself, gusts could really be screaming.

Worst case scenario for storm surge and wind event for Naples. Look to be in the east eyewall or in the eye. With those hourly updates, even though the storm stabilized at 130 mph for some time now, I would not rule out strengthening before landfall.

I think it really would need the eyewall to close off for more intensification. there seems to be only half a distinct eyewall on radar.

Yes, looks a lot like Rita and other Gulf land-falling storms as they ingest dry air, they get that 'half hurricane' look on radar.

It's not going to intensify much if any. It's under shear now with dry air to the west getting pulled in. It's still a huge and extremely dangerous storm with surge that is going to catch people off guard.
