981.5 extrapolated. That is down from 984.1 extrapolated an hour and a half ago.

They just did 2 passes... They got through the center turned around and went back through the center... The 2nd time through they recorded a pressure of 981.5mb

What is the best guess for winds when it hits the shore?

One of our local mets posted on Facebook the morning model spreads that are now focused on San Antonio Bay. Is this a trend others are seeing?

No sooner do I say its probably in the 981mbs now, that latest extrap goes down to 981.5...anyway still deepening and the presentation is still great.

Can't see any way this does not become our first major hurricane of the year.

Models are focusing between Corpus Christi and Port O' Connor this morning, at least for now.

Been awhile since Recon has been in the eastern or NE quad, winds could be higher by now.

They just flew through NW, not NE. :)
