Getting ready to ugly at Jeff's location again. He's relocating due to damage coming off of the roof of the WalMart.

Still a 4 in the latest advisory. This storm is still holding on well. Recent recon data still supports a cat 4.

Run the models. Monday? Tuesday? It's gonna move but it looks like it will stay within a 100 mile radius or so for a long time.

I am not sure if it is a wobble or not, but it appears to have moved east in the last few frames of IR.

So far it has not been that bad here in Galveston (although a McDonald's sign fell apart up on the Seawall) - but we think we are ready for 18 inches...maybe! As long as the winds don't get too crazy. In fact I am going to get some sleep pretty soon downstairs for now, husband is already asleep - hope we do not wake up in water! We have most of our stuff upstairs - just cooler down here so we set up the airbed downstairs - our AC upstairs went out (not storm related). Here is hoping for less rain than predicted. G'night ya'll.
