Flying through a HOT tower.... a low altitudes... not a wise decision. Better to put some air below, just incase you hit some good updrafts or downdrafts.

hints of a north motion to me off the sat loops... need recon confirmation or more sat loops...

Hasn't gained much latitude since sunrise and looks to be tracking about due north ATM.

old center is completely gone now, IMO. Alberto is in the Gulf of Mexico now.

Due to climatology, I don't think anyone is taking this as seriously as they should. Alberto looks like it is getting its act together in a big way. It is days away from landfall, and lot of warm water ahead of it, and lessening shear. All of that combined with a major holiday and millions on their way to the Gulf Coast.

I agree I think it is now in the Gulf and the east motion looks to be over so should go north then NW later tomorrow as it feels the ridge. Shear also seems to be easing up some.

I have not been able to look at anything since late yesterday afternoon.. looks like the upper trough got up underneath it and we had the center reform per the models. just a little east of yesterdays forecast. wont change much

Yes it is. You can see the hot towers are firing near the new center and. the llc is coming together now just off the NW tip of Cuba.
