Seeing some strong (>100 kt.) Doppler Velocities < 2000 ft. AGL in/around some of the outer bands. Any increase in convection could be sufficient to bring these down to the Sfc. in gusts (recent obs indicate that this may already be happening)

If anyone has Periscope app there is a guy in surf city, NC live feeding right now, impressive winds and rain but not near whats to be expected.

Still just getting outer bands, it's gonna get a lot worse and for a long time.

I completely agree, i wasn't discounting it in anyway was just saying so far nothing to really see on his video but find him tomorrow ( if he is still there) it will be something to see i bet.
