I got one. An Isuzu Trooper with a bad transmission, but it'll still move around under it's own power. Transmission replacement cost more than the truck is worth, but it has a good body and engine, so it sits in my yard. If I lived closer to the coast I might have done the same thing.

It's hard to tell how / if she's moving. Do you think that she's going to be as bad as Harvey was last year in terms of flooding? She looks pretty bad already onshore and she is still well a ways off shore

Dang, why does this interesting of a storm have to make landfall on a school night 
... In all seriousness though, this looks like a very dire situation for the southern NC coast, and the stall doesn't make matters better, with a constant flow of wind up the rivers. My prayers are out for all who are affected by Hurricane Florence! (On a side note, does anyone know when high tide is in the region?)

Here's the wall of ridging that Florence has run into today, is going to have no choice but wait for the ridge to move out of the way for Florence to finally start moving out of the Carolinas starting on Sunday.
