Radar confirms that insane looking (on IR) squall across Pascagoula. That looks intense.

Yes it is the most intense band in the northwest edge of the circulation center. I am sure there are likely tornadic cells within that band.

Recon is finally going between the mainland and the barrier islands. Wondered why they weren't doing that before to sample the core.

Part of the COC but the true COC is approaching Petit Bois Island, just to the west of Dauphin Island.
