It will be interesting if Oscar reaches Major Hurricane over the next 24-48 hours as the HWRF & GFS show. Looking good this morning.

Looks impressive for an Atlantic Hurricane this late in the season. Will likely reach Category 2, wouldn't even rule out Category 3.

I’d be surprised if this didn’t become a major hurricane. The Subtropics have been the place this season!

Cat 3 looks probable, with an outside chance of Cat 4 even. Not impossible.
