No doubt that there is an eye showing up on visible right now. Any METS know what happens if this deepens quicker than expected? Will it go more north or south when approaching the US?

That looks like some serious blowup in the eyewall, or at least what looks like one. This thing might take off sooner rather than later.

Certainly getting that look at the moment with a weak eye showing up now as well.

Remember that the stronger the storm, the harder the left turn will likely be.
