Went to grab some food that I can grill Incase I lose power and there were about 6 people in the return line at Publix because they heard it’s going to recurve and miss us.

Why dont they just use it, seriously all the back and forth is ridiculous..its food, you have to eat so dont tell me its a financial thing..furthermore, if you want to save money you dont go to publix

Unless you "need" bogo craft/import beers. Then it is a good deal.

There are deals there but they get it all back on the other stuff...publix is not the place to save money..anyway, returning stuff now is beyond idiotic

Remember Irma? Dived down into Cuba SW and models did not show that just 48-72 hours out.

Yep, plenty of storms start going west and keep on chugging which is amazing with all the drops and launches, its so difficult to find the edges of the ridge...nobodys at fault, the atmosphere is so dynamic all the technology they throw at it is really no match beyond 48 hours

Question from an interested bystander: I think I recall that powerful storms "want" to spin north. Is that true, and if so, could it be a factor in this case?
