It's free, and I've been using it for years for all sorts of conversions. Keep a shortcut on your desktop and it's always right there. It's extremely easy to use and very self-explanatory.

Also if you can calculate a 15% tip, you can calculate mph from knots, since mph are 15% more than knots.

An easy way to think about it is: add 10% to knots then half again, so for example if it's 80 knots it's 80 + 8 +4, or 92 mph.

NHC will then round down or up to nearest 5 MPH, so 80 knots is 90 MPH on the advisory.

Looks like it will miss next plot to the north.

Center is located near the south side of the eye so it's pretty much on track.

I think we're on the cusp of this becoming a category 5 any moment now. Somebody else mentioned that this would be the 4th year in a row with a cat 5 in the atlantic basin too.

I agree. It may be already a Cat 5.

Dorian's likely intensifying again, going for a W ring

This post was probably an opinion of mine, and in no way is official. Please refer to http://www.hurricanes.gov for official tropical analysis and advisories.

If it keeps doing that it'll miss the Bahamas slightly to the North.
