Sorry I can't find the thread on old 96L. Is that what is spinning off the NE Yucatan?

Area in south GOM off the NE Yucatán hints of a low trying to form. This area might be associated with the convection that came off the n coast of Cuba and passed thru the FL Straits. Not sure if it’s 96L related or not. I would think If it continues to develop it would get a new classification. IMO

I think ex-96L dissipated while traversing just north of Jamaica back on late Saturday. I think this area will likely get a new invest designation.

It looks good this morning. We need a new thread for that area.
