Hot towers are still blowing up around Hanna’s center, and with diurnal max upon us, we’ll probably see a lot more. I have a feeling 50 kt will end up being too low.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

Not an meteorologist! Just someone who is interested in weather. Please refer to the NHC and local weather officials to make decisions.

Not a meteorologist, in fact more of an idiot than anything. You should probably check with the NHC or a local NWS office for official information.

This is probably the beginning of an RI phase. Cat 2-3 is very much on the table

FL winds are nearly 50 kt, and the plane is still at ~28.0N; the center is at ~27.3N. 60-70 kt seems like a good bet as of now.

looks like GR has the elevation incorrectly set for KEMK. NOAA has 120 meter height for KEMK... big oil rig

the reduction is still minimal compared to the plane.

plane will likely find that and higher.

It probably will, but it's worth noting that the elevation isn't at sea level
