It’s just now finally starting to ‘gel’ but it has a good amount of time out in the Gulf. I expect this one to exceed official forecasts.

That would likely support hurricane intensity, even if it is a bit too high to be reliable.

Re: ATL: HANNA - Tropical Storm - Discussion
Surprised they didn't at least bump it to 60 kt. There's probably enough support for that.

With the trend of the 18z and 0z Computer models and Hanna losing a bit of Latitude the NHC might have to nudge the Hurricane Warning Southward.

That's a comma-shape if I've ever seen one.

And I put the black dot where NHC 1AM updates position was so it appears it is moving more south or since they don't have recon their position is a little off.

I am curious if the blue shed is going to be in play for this storm. I think it would be awesome to see a shot from that same area!

Does this mean she’s getting ready to intensify more? I’m a newbie trying to learn.

Storms have a history of weakening as they approach this coast at this angle. We'll see.

Dang! Hanna is so round, and worse yet it really does look like she's wrapping up fast, gonna be a hell of a Saturday.
iCyclone and others might get more than they bargained for, hope they stay safe in Hanna and also all those in the soon-to-be hurricane's path!

It's been a long time. Is the pressure down to 982?
