Ok, with those last couple of frames I take back what I said a few minutes ago. This is making a hard push into the upper echelon of Atlantic hurricanes of all time. Where it stacks up among that group remains to be seen when the plane gets there...

Eye continues to get further embedded in a frigid CDO. positive eye temps will send ADT over 8

Not an meteorologist! Just someone who is interested in weather. Please refer to the NHC and local weather officials to make decisions.

Someone really jinxed us when they posted the picture of Haiyan, at this point Eta's core looks almost identical to Haiyan, minus some symmetry and size
