I vote western eyewall rides the coast for hours and makes everyone argue incessantly on what technically constitutes a landfall before racing up to the Carolinas leaving the debates raging

Colors of lost purpose on the canvas of irrelevance

Not a meteorologist, in fact more of an idiot than anything. You should probably check with the NHC or a local NWS office for official information.

I'm going to side with the UKMET on this one, but that's putting it loosely until we get upper air data from Gulfstream.

Looks like the draw from that moisture will cause more of a westerlies shift also. Still speeding off towards the wnw and no slow down in site atm. Look for further shifts towards the west in the next day or so. Still isn't feeling the influence to the north so further west in my opinion.

I only have about 15 gallons. I bought a portable air conditioner which is being delivered today.

Make sure you have a window to vent the warm air out, along with some kind of panel (cardboard, plexiglass, wood, etc) to cover the remaining part of the open window if you end up needing to use it.

Yes thanks. I was going to use it post storm but yes good idea.

I get the impression that Isaias is chugging along...but not quite strengthening yet.

I am going to go against the grain here and say it deepens, missing landfall in FL but giving a close scrape and landfalls in Oak Island, N. Carolina
