Getting very windy here at the coast in Boca Raton. Also incoming feeder band should bring the strongest wind gusts yet.
TS conditions at my place, 40+ and heavy rain

I keep reloading the satellite feed thinking “surely Isaias has rebuilt by now”, and it just looks more pathetic beyond my lowest expectations each time.

So there was a turn from the previous WNW motion?

Looks like it’s moving generally NW toward Bimini Islands.

Easy sparky. NO one is giving you a tutorial. I've been a Floridian since 1976 and tracking hurricanes for more than 20 years. I've seen it all. You stated your opinion and I stated mine.

As yet another poster who has lived in Florida many years; maybe more than either of you; expressing our opinions is what this Board is for and if anyone was giving a tutorial it was not caneman.
In my opinion, as long as you are not slamming the NHC or Pro Mets, who know a heck of a lot more than those of us who have 20-40 years or more layperson experience; have at it and express your opinion, support your opinion, and don’t give us lectures or tutorials on what we can say.

Yep. Little interest in posting here any longer after the tongue lashing I took after my last post.

Actually, according to the Bryan Norcross video; the 11:00 AM advisory had Miami Dade and Broward no longer in the cone.
Thats true but the cone has an error so for mclaughlin to say 0 is not a good idea.

You are correct.
As a member of the media that people follow, even if they are out of the cone, saying 0% is irresponsible.
Better to say that the area is out of the cone but to still follow until it has actually passed.

Anxiously watching this from Long Island, NY. Really hoping that Team “it’s falling apart” is right.

I doubt Isaias will have convection by the 5pm advisory, even if towers start diring soon I doubt it will be enough to officially maintain hurricane status besides.

Later this evening when the sun starts to set is when I expect the convection to start firing. If Isaias can maintain that convection over night then I believe we will make it back to hurricane strength. If the convection fires and fizzles like some of models are showing then Florida will not get a hurricane.

Just an amateur opinion not a legitimate forecast

I have no problems with anyone . You can bash me or anyone else and that's your right to those who feel like that. Have no problrms with that. I enjoy spending time on the board while working, practically daily to share my thoughts, which I have on Storm2k for 10 years come September. So, I come to lend my experience, thoughts analysis and advice to those who either ask for it, or out of my care and concerns to the publc. After all, I serve the publc in my capacity.

So, I respect everyone on this board. People from all walks of life come on.here Pros and enthusiasts alike. I have been a member for so long now on this forum I just want all members to look at me as one of the older uncles of StormK Lol.. Feel free to notify me with any questions if you elect to do so, whether to private message, or on the threads themselves, and I will do my best to respond back to you. I have done the best to reply back to those who ask me for anything through the years.

I did not intend on.a discertation here, but felt it was good to share how I feel, since we have a little lull with Isaias going through a weakening cycle currently.

Have a great afternoon and be safe people!
