We have certainly seen that before recently! #Matthew

Well John Morales just said expect gusts to 65mph in Broward county this evening.

WOW that's a huge change in tune from him.

Quoting him from Twitter 10 minutes ago:

...a Tropical Storm Warning is still in place for #Broward County. The worst weather will occur overnight, 1 to 4 AM especially. We’ve already had gusts 40-50 mph today. They’ll ramp up to 55-65.

Remember everything you’ve learned about Isaías: asymmetry, motion, strength. Apply this to figure out where the 65’s and 55’s would be:

The 65’s in extreme NE Broward, the 55’s inland.

If you live in Miami-Dade, obviously these number are lower, 45-55 mph gusts NE, lower SW.

Also said Miami Dade can expect an inch or so of rain overnight.

The calm before the storm, literally calm, very quiet, no birds or the usual falcon around this afternoon.
The dust from this morning & yesterday is gone.

AF just went through again and it is almost in the same position as last time. Looks like Isaias might have gone stationary. Ms. Piggy will go through next but had to alter course. They were both going towards the center at almost the same time and only 2000ft of altitude separating them.

FPL at your service in 40 mph winds

Less than a tenth of one percent power outage in Broward and Palm Beach currently but some Mets are saying you might need a couple resets tonight.

Mesoscale wind Analysis. I can support these winds at my locale as it is getting quite gusty:

Right on schedule. The midnight to 0600 cycle should be a sight to behold. Sadly.

LOL...from being on life support most of the day to an explosion of convection the last several hours. Looks like my friends on this board from the east coast will get some weather tonite and tomorrow from Isaias. Nearly all models are now on board with redevelopment and most now slowly crawl him along the coast at 6 mph for 24 hours from landfall near Palm Beach at 6-8 am Sunday.

The majority of the windfield remains offshore. Morales says to expect sustain winds 45-60 gusts to 65. I might just wait up for it.
