Jeff "Blue Shed" P. is turning on all his cameras, he saw a power flash in Lake Charles from on top the parking structure: https://www.pscp.tv/Jeff_Piotrowski/1rmxPYqmYpVKN

Also Reed is driving around right now

Got him up now too. Looks to be getting serious

I hate this saying, but it'd be classic 2020 for recon to find Cat 5 winds on the final pass.

We're just about ready to get the first intense squall in crowley. Its gonna be a bumpy night. Prayers for everyone. Minimal loss of life. A steady 30 -35 mph North and west wind with a steady rain.

Cameron, LA is dead ahead. Worst impact for the area since Audrey 1957.

Any guesses on how strong the winds might get in Lake Charles? 120-130mph?

My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.

Really hoping time allows for one more NE eyewall pass. It'll be scraping land before too long.

No instrument will record it, but I would suspect sustained 90-110 mph with gusts to 140 mph.

Between the rain and surge deep into Cameron Parish, I really gotta wonder about just how much weakening the storm will get before Lake Charles and Moss Point...
